Hi, I'm Vangelis — good to have you here.
For more than 23 years, I've been building and leading enterprise software at the intersection of maps, money, and data. My work has taken me through location intelligence, fintech, and real estate technology, where I had the chance to bring AI into Automated Valuation Models long before large language models made "AI" the word on everyone's lips. If there's a thread running through it all, it's this: turning complex spatial and business data into decisions people can actually trust.
Along the way, I've worn quite a few hats — systems architect, IT security lead, GIS and spatial analysis specialist, project manager, and seasoned navigator of large public tenders. My education mirrors that mix: a BSc in Computer Engineering, an MSc in Telecommunications, and an MBA in European Management and Total Quality Management. But what I care about most isn't the titles or the degrees — it's building things well. With an eye for detail, reliability, and cost-effectiveness, because in the enterprise world, elegance means nothing if it doesn't hold up under pressure and deliver value.
Lately, I've been captivated by how artificial intelligence is reshaping software engineering — and the future of work itself. It's the most exciting shift I've witnessed in two decades, and I'm right in the middle of it: experimenting with DevOps, AI agents, and new ways of solving old problems. If you're thinking about what AI means for your teams, your products, or your industry, you're in the right place. All challenges accepted.
